A beam of Light

Truly, the best message
always appears when we least expect, it catches us off-guard and suddenly lets
go to make way for free will. Like a whirlwind, it swirls truthfully with
speed, yet with weight:
“Always, be on the
lookout for love. Don’t be desperate, but don’t ever deny the need for love
because it is only through today’s love that yesterday’s wounds can truly heal”.
One can almost
disbelieve one’s auditory senses.
It takes a bit of
time to rearrange this mental perception, however suddenly before one can
respond; somber attention is summoned.
“Whenever one says
they know love, they do not”; the divine beaming light continues
as if to drill a ray of radiance into one’s head,
deep down the throat straight into the bottomless chamber of the heart.
“Whenever a person
says I have attained love – be certain that they are not in love because love
is not something to be achieved. It is not something that one arrives at step
by step as if one were climbing a ladder. Love is neither in the hands of time nor
on the rung of space; it evolves – it has no permanent residence and it is
fluid like air, therefore it cannot be captured”.
At this point, one
wishes that lobes were automatic doors that could shut and lock at will because
this truth cuts too deep. However, no matter how hard one tries to turn one’s
attention away to other unimportant events; at this point victory seems null
and void.
As if the pain is
not enough, the conclusion is delivered with the gentlest, brightest yet
pounding tone that hacks through the veins.
“And remember,
genuine love comes in many forms – you just need to open the eyes of your heart
to see it. So, to say “I do not need love now is as silly as saying I do not
need fresh air now”. To utter such asinine words is not just ignorant, arrogant
and dim-witted; it is absolutely absurd”.
One blinks and
widens up one’s visual senses. One looks around searching for a sanctuary, only
to find that there is nothing; and no one to hide from – except the self. Yet
the beam gets brighter as the truth becomes clearer.

Talk about truths, how I wish they were intrinsic . . . !
