The hummingbird

That deep
amber
No one can describe
At dawn over the rocky mountains
with the gathering warmth of an autumn sunrise

That
radiant auburn

No one can describe

At dusk over the curvy seas

with the disappearing rays of a spring sunset

Sometimes
it rises or hides

Or even totally disappear bringing darkness

And still, no one can prescribe

Yet the
clock ticks

with the nurturing rhythm of a silent heartbeat

with the flapping echo of a serene hummingbird
