\n<\/a>When I was younger, life seemed simpler and easier partly because I always knew that most of my problems were not truly mine, in essence, they were someone else\u2019s problem – especially my parents.  But as I become older, I realize that most of my problems are totally and truly mine.  This implies that only I can (and should) find solutions to my problems to ensure my own peace and happiness.  However, the more I attempt to find relevant solutions to my daily problems, the more I realize that life is a chain of problems – it just never ends. Just because I resolve today\u2019s problem does not mean that tomorrow is a problem-free day – actually the better; and more committed I become to solving my problems, there more they sturdily march towards me! <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nSo, what is the best thing to do?  I find that for me, firstly to humbly accept that problems are a part of life prepares and arms me to tackle them as they come.  Secondly, to face problems and attempt to resolve them sooner rather than later is a great strategy; and lastly, to find little but satisfying distractions that occupy my mind (and heart) as I wait for the next problem to announce its arrival.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nDon\u2019t get me wrong, I don\u2019t sit on my laurels like I am waiting for a bus and anticipate problems all the time – I actually do take time out and smell the roses, listen to Adele\u2019s someone like you<\/span><\/em>, go for a walk or watch eat pray and love<\/span><\/em> (produced by Brad Pitt\u2019s company) or read Zakes Mda’s Black Diamond<\/span><\/em> which is humour-packed!<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nOf course, a visit to the spa will also ease things off, physically and mentally.  <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nAnd once all these are done, of course a problem or two will be waiting for my undivided attention!<\/span><\/div>\n
